Toyota Prius+ gets new style for 2015

UK’s one and only seven seater hybrid car Toyota Prius+ gets new styling, equipment, colour and suspension upgrades for 2015 face lifted version.

Toyota have updated its Prius+ with revised exterior, some interior changes and more equipment.

The 2015 Prius+ gets major style updates since it launched in 2012.The revised Prius+ gets new gloss black upper grille design and Toyota badge plus new LED headlights with LED daytime running lights.

2015 Toyota Prius+ Interior Changes

The cabin includes a dark silver metallic finish to some switchgear and the air conditioning dial control. There will be a new 4.2 inch colour TFT information screen added that can be controlled using switch gear on the steering wheel and also provides a new “Eco Judge” function to maximise the powertrain’s efficiency.

The main highlight of Prius+ is new Toyota Touch 2 multimedia system added as standard. Touch 2 multimedia system works as touch screen control, Bluetooth and reversing camera that can be upgraded as Toyota Touch 2 with Go for satellite navigation, live traffic information, text to speech function, and 3D city modelling.

Electric seats, front centre armrest and intelligent park assist, hill start assist control also be available.

Toyota also worked on Prius+ riding and handling by making suspension changes . The new sound absorption materials has been introduced at the rear side of the compartment to reduce noise interruption in the cabin.

Toyota is sure about Prius+ to comply with Euro6 emissions standards. Full details will be announced nearer the release date, expected at the end of 2014.
