Toyota have revealed the facelift updates of the popular family hatchback Auris for 2015, ready to debut at Geneva Motor Show.
With a refreshed design, updated interior, tech and engine range updates, the new Toyota Auris is ready to debut at Geneva Motor Show and is expected to go on sale in the summer of this year. The facelift updates applies to both hatchback and estate versions.
So what’s new for the 2015 Toyota Auris?
The Auris is one of the most popular hatchback models in the Toyota range. The Auris has not received any updates since 2013, and it has become very important to reveal the facelift updates to fight against the raft of facelifted competitors like the Ford Focus, Hyundai i30 and Honda Civic.
Seeing the images, we can say, the Auris features most notable changes include a new grille, redesigned headlights and a reshaped lower bumper. The rear side of the images are yet to be revealed but are likely to have new lights, a smarter bumper and tweaked design. The cabin design has not changed much, but Toyota says – the new cabin will feature upmarket materials to enhance the quality.
Toyota has promised the new Auris will gain a new range of engines that will boost fuel efficiency and performance, but these are yet to be revealed.
The hybrid power train will continue to be offered, which has accounted for around half of all European Auris sales in 2014.
Both facelifted models of the Auris and Avensis to be built at Toyota’s manufacturing plant in Burnaston near Derby, UK.
Are you looking forward for the new Toyota Auris? Not too long. It is expected to arrive UK market this summer.
