Land Rover have launched the latest generation model of its popular car – Range rover Evoque. Goes on sale summer 2016.
When it was launched back in 2011, Land Rover couldn’t have imagined the coupe styled Evoque would be so popular and it has actually become one of the most successful models in Land Rover range. It is also one of the most selling model for our own company since 2012.
The game is still on!
In last four years, the Range Rover Evoque have secured its strong position and achieved more than 400,000 customers around the world. It’s also one of the fastest selling Land Rover of all the time. In 2014, Evoque marked the most successful year to date, with 125,365 global sales which its truly remarkable.
Land Rover is coming up with facelift version of Range Rover Evoque for 2016 which will go on sale next summer. With revised exterior tweaks, new 68 miles per gallon diesel engine and improved safety kit, the Evoque is ready to take on 2016.

A new baby Land Rover Evoque is looking more sporty and stylish than ever. The new Evoque features a new front bumper, two new grille designs, three new alloy wheel designs and enlarged air intakes. It also features company’s first ever full LED adaptive headlamps to ensure the superior visibility at night.
At the rear, a new tailgate spoiler includes a wider and slimmer high level LED rear brake lights which are very eye-catching and provides a distinguish sporty look.
To personalise your own Evoque, the company has added new colour scheme and materials including Lunar Ice, Vintage Tan and Dark Cherry.
All the standard models will get a textile-woven Ebony fabric and 6-way adjustment options. While the flagship models features a new front massage seats as a cost option and 14-way electric adjustment.
In-Control Touch Plus also introduced on top-drawer HSE Dynamic and Autobiography models. It also features a satellite navigation, an eleven speaker Meridian sound system, rear seat entertainment, dual view screen visibility and a digital wireless headphones.
New Efficient Diesel Engine
The new diesel TD4 engine is 20 to 30 kilograms lighter than its predecessor and will be available in 150 PS (Pferdestärke) and 180PS (Pferdestärke) units.
- The 150PS officially returns 68mpg (miles per gallon) fuel economy with CO2 emissions of 109g/km (grams per kilometre) only.
- The 180PS unit offers 59mpg (miles per gallon) fuel economy with CO2 emissions of 125g/km (grams per kilometre).
The 150PS has been reported as having18 percent more fuel efficient compare to Evoque’s previous diesel engines. Also, it is one of the greenest and cleanest engine models in its class.
The 2016 Evoque will continue to offer a current 240PS Si4 petrol engine, which get you from 0 to 62mph (miles per hour) in 7.6 seconds.
Updated Safety Kit
The new Evoque features an updated safety kit that includes a lane departure keeping assist, driver fatigue warning and an autonomous emergency braking. There is a forward-facing stereo camera that can identify and prevents from collisions.
The new Range Rover also features an all-new ‘Terrain Progress Control’, borrowed from its big brother Range Rover Sport which allows the Evoque to crawl at 19mph (miles per hour) speed over slippery ground.
Availability and Release date
The 2016 Range Rover Evoque will be offered in a choice of SE, HSE, Dynamic and Autography trims. The prices are yet to be confirmed.
The new 2016 Evoque will debut at next week’s Geneva Motor Show. It goes on sale in next summer and the first set of deliveries are expected to be made in August.
