Renault Captur gets new top-spec Signature trim

Renault has added a new top-spec Signature trim level to its best selling Captur crossover, priced from £17,495.

Renault Captur is a compact crossover, combines 4×4 looks with supermini dimensions and low running costs. Captur is one of the high-riding crossover model of 2014 designed to rival the Nissan Juke and Peugeot 2008.

Renault Captur : New Signature Trim Level

Captur crossover is the second best selling model in the French brand Renault’s line up. The new top-spec Signature trim level features some exterior and interior updates with extra kit over the existing models.

The new Signature trim model features 17 inch explorer alloy wheels with black insets and chrome exterior details on the side strips, boot lid, front grille and new fog lights. A two-tone exterior finish as standard whilst a new three other metallic and two solid colours added in Signature trim model.

Inside, the Signature model gets part-leather upholstery, Signature door sill pates and exclusive mats and some red colour coded centre console, speakers and air vents.

In terms of technology, the Capture Signature includes 7 inch touchscreen, satellite navigation, USB connectivity and uprated 4x35W Arkamys radio with 3D sound. A rear parking camera with rear parking sensors features on this model. Plus, the Grip Xtend advanced traction control system as standard, provides maximum grip on the road in any driving conditions.

Captur Signature retains the comprehensive specifications such as electric folding door mirrors, automatic climate control, tinted rear windows, tailgate, Bluetooth connectivity and LED daytime running lights…

The Signature trim model is available in choice of two petrol and diesel engines as standard. The petrol line up consists of a 0.9 litre TCe 90 and 1.2 litre Tce 120 comes in automatic and manual gearbox. In terms of diesel, the 1.5 litre dCi 90 is available as both manual and automatic gearbox.

The diesel engine is the most efficient engine, offers 78.5mpg and 95g/km CO2 emissions.
