Prices and specifications announced for the facelifted 2015 Honda CR-V

Honda has announced the pricing and specification details of its most popular and facelifted CR-V range, price starts from £22,340, rising to £35,620. Arriving at dealers in March.

In our last blog post –Honda receives updates for 2015, we have discussed about the styling, Infotainment, a new diesel engine and its safety features.

The Honda CR-V is the best selling SUV in the world right now. The facelifted version brought a new diesel engine and some new technology features at competitive price.

Honda CR-V Equipped Features and Pricing :

The Honda CR-V will be offered in choice of four trims are : S, SE, SR and EX, available in both 2WD (two-wheel-drive) and 4WD (four-wheel-drive) forms.

2015 Honda CR-V side ViewThe entry level ‘S‘ model comes with 2.0 litre petrol engine and a six speed manual gearbox. It costs from £22,340. In the entry level model, the Honda offers quite a lot of standard kit including climate and cruise control, USB input, one touch folding rear seats, heated power mirrors, daytime running lights, fabric interior, hill start assist, steering wheel with stereo controls and 17 inch alloy wheels. It also benefits from Intelligent Multi Info Display (i-MID), plus a CD tuner and 4 speaker stereo. The hill start assist, brake and stability assist, central locking, anti-lock braking system also comes as standard to ensure the safety of the car and passengers.

The next trim level ‘SE’ (priced from £24,510) above the ‘S’ gets a leather wrapped steering wheel and gear-knob, automatic wipers and mirrors, parking sensors, rear view parking camera, front fog lamps, six speakers and Honda connect. The SE version is available in choice of 2.0 litre petrol and 1.6 litre diesel engine. The prices depends on the which version you choose. The diesel engine offers an amazing fuel economy of around 55-65 miles per gallon and CO2 emissions of 115-129 grams per kilometre.

2015 Honda CR-V interiorFor an extra £4,080, ‘SR’ trims brings alcantara interior, heated front seats, satelite navigation, ambient lightning, high-power audio, bi-xenon headlights with active cornering function, privacy glass, 18 inch alloy wheels and passenger power lumber support.

The top range of CR-V ‘EX’ model(priced from £30,435) comes with smart entry, full leather interior electric driver’s seat with memory, power tailgate, panoramic glass roof and metallic door-step garnish.

At £23,400 on the road price , the diesel engine of the CR-V ‘S’ trim sounds more relevant if you are looking for an affordable yet economical engine.
