Prices and Specification announced for the Hyundai i30

Following the recent launch of the new Hyundai i20, Hyundai have announced the pricing and specification details of their i30 model. It’s coming this March and is priced from £15,195 as a basic list price.

What is new for the 2015 i30?

New Hyundai i30The Hyundai i30 is a family hatchback car that will make its showroom debut in March after its public debut at the Geneva motor show. The i30 hatchback price starts from £15,195 as a basic list price, with the Tourer starting from £16,895 as a basic list price.

The new 2015 Hyundai i30 received an updated and refreshed design, updated interior materials to enhance quality, new tech and the engine range is also updated to boost performance end efficiency.

What about the engines?

Diesel buyers can choose either a 110PS or 136PS (Pferdestärke) diesel engine. The 100PS model with blue drive technology makes an ideal choice for those buyers who make a long motorway journey everyday for the easier journey and its costs nothing to tax.

The petrol engine range consists a 1.4 litre (100PS), 1.6 litre (120PS) and the new 1.6 litre (186PS) turbo GDI engine.

The 1.4 litre petrol engine is suitable for travel around town thanks to its perfect balance between fuel economy and peppy performance.

What about specifications?

New Hyundai i30 interiorBoth Hyundai i30 hatchback and Tourer models will be offered in four trim levels – S, SE, SE Nav and Premium.

The Hyundai i30 replaces its outgoing entry level ‘Classic’ trim with the new S model (priced from £15,195 as a basic list price) featuring a wide range of equipments including 15 inch steel wheels, keyless entry, Bluetooth connectivity with steering wheel remote control, air conditioning, tyre pressure monitoring system and USB and AUX connections.

Ahead of the i30 S, the ‘SE’ (priced from £16,495 as a basic list price) model gets 16 inch alloy wheels, auto cruise control with speed limiter, drivers electric lumbar support, rear parking sensors and a leather wrapped steering wheel and gearbox. The ‘SE Nav’ (Priced from £17,495 as a basic list price) model adds satellite navigation with rear view camera.

A top range, Hyundai i30 ‘Premium’ (priced from £20,295 as a basic list price) benefits from 17 inch alloy wheels, leather seats, dual zone climate control, heated steering wheel and seats and HID (High Intensity Discharge) headlights with auto leveling.
