Nissan have fully unveiled the Kicks concept yesterday at the São Paulo Motor Show that is currently taking place in Brazil, however it not designed for UK market.
The Range Rover Evoque rival is coming……
This Nissan Kicks concept is a compact crossover car reflects the design inspiration from Brazil. It designed together by Nissan’s design studios in USA and Brazil. Nissan has not revealed much information about the engine, platform and technical details. The Kicks concept is slightly larger than the Juke measures 4,300 mm long, 1,800mm wide and 1,500mm tall.
The front side of the Nissan Kick gets a big chrome grille that we seen all new Nissan models including Qashqai and Juke. And has a sloping roofline design, that we have already seen in the Range Rover Evoque… In my opinion it borrows the design elements from Evoque and the sportiness from Nissan Juke.
Other features includes big bumpers, 19 inch alloy wheels, roof rails, bumper trims, big arches and high ground clearance.
Nowadays, people interested in Mini SUVs so Kicks could be one attractive option for its sporty and trendy styling.
The Executive Design Director, Mamoru Aoki commented, “This concept was inspired by the streets of Brazil and designed for its people.” However, the car is not only for the Brazilian market but they capture the idea of Brazil and applied to the global design improvement.
Kick is the concept model at the moment, may become a production model in coming years soon…. However Nissan has not any plans to bring the Kicks concept to UK market, will make production in South America and other emerging markets including China…
