According to Euro NCAP results of 2014, the Nissan Qashqai has become the safest small family car to drive.
The Euro NCAP is an independent organisation composed of seven European Governments , they organise crash-tests and provide motoring consumers with an independent assessment of the safety performance of cars.
Thanks to Nissan‘s new and innovative safety features that provide high levels of protection for adults and children. During front impact tests, the dummies used gave the Qashqai top marks with the passenger compartment staying stable, helping to protect both the knees and bones of both the driver and passengers.
The dummy driver managed to score maximum points in terms of protecting all body regions; the side barrier test also achieved maximum points when protecting all parts of the body.
The Qashqai benefits from Nissan’s highly advanced Safety Shield & electronic systems that combine to offer the high levels of passive protection to both driver and passengers. The innovative Safety Shield technologies features – forward emergency braking, driver attention alert, high beam assist, traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring and moving object detection.
