Finally, the South Korean brand Ssangyong have announced the specification, pricing and release date for its new small sports utility vehicle “Tivoli” which is going on sale in Summer 2015.
In our earlier post about the new Ssangyong Tivoli, we gave you some information about how the company is trying to create a new youthful image amongst younger drivers. In this post we have tried to provide pricing and specification details for the new Tivoli which will go on sale this Summer.
The Tivoli is the all-new sports utility vehicle from the Ssangyong brand. It sits on an all-new platform which has been developed since Ssangyong was taken over by Indian giant Mahindra. The Tivoli is a five seater vehicle which features a total boot capacity of 423 litres with the rear seats up and measures a total length of 4.2 metres offering enough head and legroom for the three rear passengers based on its dimensions.
At the time of launch, the Tivoli will be offered with a choice of two engines, a 1.6 litre petrol and a 1.6 litre diesel engine. The diesel engine will be available with both two and four wheel drive options whereas petrol buyers will only get the standard two wheel drive engine. Both style engines will be available in a choice of manual and automatic transmissions.

The Ssangyong Tivoli will be offered with a choice of three trim levels; SE, EX and ELX. The SE is the entry level model and comes with 16 inch alloy wheels, stop and start technology, Bluetooth, cruise control and a smart steering system to choose from. In addition to the SE specification, the EX models comes with 18 inch Spiral wheels, dual zone climate control, a 7 inch touch screen, heated front seats, front fog lights, and ‘MY Tivoli’ personalisation options. The ELX is the higher range model that benefits from diamond cut alloy wheels, smart keyless starting, front and rear parking sensors, automatic headlights and rain sensing wipers, a full TomTom navigation, a rear view camera and an optional styling pack.
The Tivoli will be offered in a choice of six colours including red, white, black, silver, grey and blue.
