South Korean auto manufacturer Ssangyong, has announced the name of the new B-segment crossover – Tivoli.
The Ssangyong has revealed the rendered images of the Tivoli’s exterior and interior but yet to be revealed the specification details.
At 4.19 meters long with 2.6 meters wheelbase size, the Tivori features almost the same size of Nissan Juke. So when It arrives, Tivori would compete with Nissan Juke, Renault Capture and Vauxhall Mokka. With a new design and styling, the Tivori taking up the rhythmical motion of SsangYong’s new design language.
Since from 2011, Ssangyong has been working on Tivoli which seen at motor shows in concept form under the X100 banner. The company has not announced the engine options but expected to have 1.6 litre petrol and diesel engines meeting with Euro 6 emission standard in four and two wheel drive options. The Tivoli could get air conditioning, radio, Bluetooth, climate control and wealth amount of modern safety features as standard.
Looking the images, we understand the Tivoli highlights chunky and boxy body styling to offer more headroom and legroom for both driver and passengers.
The interior reflects the modern and interior touch and feel with sophistication look. The Tivoli is designed to offer the easiest and best IT devices connectivity for the driver and passengers plus highlights the style, practicality and huge storage space.
The company has worked hard to build Tivoli on both design and product quality using broad analytical market research to create a new compact SUV car, will be launched in native place South Korea first in January 2015 and globally(including UK) during the second quarter of 2015.
The new Tivori is expected to double Ssangyong sales in the UK and achieve the desired goals for upcoming years.
