Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV : Design

Outlander PHEV is 4*4 SUV car features front grille and rear combinations of LED lamps with clear lenses. It comes with standard 18 inch aluminum  wheels and choice of five body colours including glacier blue, frost white, white pearl, titanium grey and amethyst black.

The interior looks bit sophisticated with HD LCD display system with car navigation system. Outlander PHEV offers practicality and reliability with same interior comfort and great luggage space. The second row seats are 60/40 foldable for extra luggage space. You will get the same overall layout as regular Mitsubishi Outlander.

Same as Diesel Outlander, PHEV comes with standard seven SRS airbags, acoustic vehicle alert system and advanced e-Assist safety system such as forward collision mitigation system, lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control system for safe and comfortable ride.

The Mitsubishi communication system as standard as diesel engine. The new function is added is vehicle energy flow display, vehicle energy monitor, charging point search function, charging cost monitor and cruising range displays.

Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV : Performance

The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV powered by combination of 2.0 litre engine and two electric motors. Fully charged Outlander PHEV can go around 32 miles on battery power alone, Once its runs out then petrol engine will take place to used as a generator to continue providing power to motor.

Outlander PHEV gives more comfortable, quite and pleasing driving experience. It steers with easy linearity and well balanced grip.

The entry level of PHEV the same price as the diesel powered GX3 gives a valid reason to opt in. The entry level of GX3h provides 44g/km of CO2 and very low company car tax at just five percentage.

Japanese car manufacturer Mitsubishi are very conscious about marketing. In 2012, the Japanese firm’s UK distributer have spent £6 million on adverting, In 2013 it was £8 million and now this year 2014, the marketing spend is £20 million to get more adverting of Outlander PHEV.
