November 12, 2014

We had a great car down at our office today – Mini Countryman, a super stylist, agile and versatile car blends the traditional Mini look and even more practicality with its five doors.

Overall, the new Mini Countryman has much more space inside and a much larger boot. Best known for being fun to drive and Countryman does that. It is taller, wider and longer body than normal makes longer journeys comfortable. The Mini One D is the most economical in the Countryman range.

Blends amazing style with Mini Countryman Design & Styling :

“It is 10 cm wider and 15cm taller than the regular hatch.”

A five-seater Mini Countryman is a good looking car has chunky styling, big wheel arches and big alloys gives quite a rugged look. The new hexagonal radiator grilles underscores the further impression. The large tailgate, specific roof space and five doors showing the distinctive appearance of the Mini Countryman.

The new shaped LED fog-lights with daytime running lights gives stylist look and are intense, bright with higher energy efficiency than conventional headlamps. The Countryman available in choice of eight metallic colours, gives an exciting note.

How about getting inside to the Mini Countryman?

There are plenty of adjustment in the driver’s seat and the steering wheel with unique dashboard has circles all round with big speedometer and new, optional high-definition colour touch screen in the centre. This retro interior styling, looks and feels great.

There is no doubt that Mini Countryman is the most practical Mini by far, perfect for small families who want more space. The seats are quite wider and comfortable with plenty of head and legroom for four adults, makes longer journey comfortable.

This Mini car, offers quite decent boot space that we have never seen it before. The 350 litre boot(1,170 by folding rear seats down) is much bigger compared to the 211 litres offered in the Mini hatchback . Also gets few cubbyholes in the form of a smart-phone holder, a place to keep sunglasses and cup holder dotted around the cabin.

Mini Countryman engines :

“Enjoyable fun to drive and safety at five-star level”

Mini Countryman rear viewThe new Mini Countryman offers more efficient and choice of petrol and diesel engines meets the EU6 exhaust emissions standard.

Buyers gets wider choice of good engines because all are powerful, reliable and satisfactory. The racy copper S produces 184bhp and accelerates 0-62mph in 7.6 seconds where as the John copper is the quickest one, takes 0-62mpoh in 7 seconds. However, our favourite engine is the 1.6 litre diesel engine, produces either 90bhp or 110 bhp combines decent performance and reasonable running costs.

The four wheel drive system also available as an option on Copper, Copper S and Copper D models.

It comes with high standard safety features, has achieved maximum five star crash safety ratings from Euro NCAP. The multiple airbags, tyre pressure monitoring, stability control and daytime driving light comes as standard.
