The Japanese premium brand has unveiled its premium sports coupe in the shapes of the striking Q60 concept at the Detroit Auto Show today.
The 2015 North American International Auto Show has opened its doors today and the Japanese premium brand Infiniti has unveiled its super stylist Q60 concept. Today’s show topper Q60 concept is a very elegant 2+2 seater coupe car, combining eye-catching look, great power and high quality premium finishes promises for its customers a “no-compromise fusion of looks and speed” offering exceptional dynamics and driving pleasure.
At 4,690mm long, 1,865mm wide and 1,370mm height the two-door Q60 concept shows an athletic profile along with 21inch wheels and aluminium-carbon fibre body. The concept model features a directional LED lights up front, customisable interior lighting, hand-stitched leather instrument panel, steering wheel and door-inserts along with bucket seats for rear passengers.
Under the bonnet, the Q60 concept fitted a new twin-turbocharged 3.0 litre V6 engine that first seen in the Q80 inspiration at the Paris Motor Show and will be a part of a new family of lighter, smaller, more powerful and more efficient engines.
The company has plan to build a proper production version of a Q60 concept car next year to rival BMW’s 4 series and Audi’s A5. The company has given bit more details on its Q60 concept which is the company’s most accessible concept so far.
The Q60 concept offers a InTuitionTM system that allows to set up preferences of driving position, heating and cooling, audio, navigation and telemetics for up to four different drivers. The enhanced Infiniti Direct Adaptive Steering™ system allows independent control of the car’s tire angle and steering inputs
As mentioned the company is planning to make the Q60 sports version next year, the Vice President, Product Strategy Francois Bancon said – “Come next year, Infiniti will produce a sports coupe with influences from the Q60 Concept.”
