The Mazda 6 received a round of tweaks of styling and interior, goes on sale in the UK February 2015 with prices starts from £19,795.
The Mazda 6 have made its public debut at the recently held Paris motor show along the new CX-3 and facelifted CX-5. The upgraded Mazda 6 saloon and estate models will be shown in showrooms at the start of 2015 with more standard equipments, improved refinement and mild revised exterior.
Mazda 6 received mild exterior and heavily interior changes
The Mazda 6 has received mild revised exterior with new chrome slatted front grille with sharp lines, new bumper, new LED tail lights and 19 inch alloy wheels. Buyers will also gets Mazda 6 with two new body colours.
The major changes have been made to the interior which gets a heavily re-styled dashboard with new instrument panel, centre console redesign, improved sound insulation, DAB radio and seven inch touch screen. Mazda 6 adopts more luxurious look.
The 2015 Mazda 6 is available in five grades including – entry level SE, SE Nav, SE-L, SE-L Nav and higher range Sport Nav.
The basic SE and SE-L models starting from £19,795 and £20,795 respectively, are comes with electronic handbrake, follow me function, new Multimedia commander control system with DAB radio and smart phone connectivity.
The range-toper Sport Nav gets revised styling with new grille and LED lights all round including adaptive headlamp units and 19 inch bright alloy wheels. The passenger seat is now electrically adjustable six ways and a revised navigation system. There is a six way power adjustable front passenger seat, vinyl leather knee pads, new head-up display comes as standard in Sport Nav.
The Mazda 6 engine range includes nine diesel and seven petrol saloon variants, and nine diesel and three petrol Tourer versions, equipped with six-speed manual or automatic transmissions.
The 2.2 litre 150PS diesel engine provides the strongest low running costs, returning 72.4 mpg at 106g/km CO2 for the saloon costing £22,295(£23,095 Tourer – 64.2mpg and 130g/km co2). It has a top speed of 131mph and accelerates 0-62mph in just 9.1 seconds.
The safety features includes – lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring and rear smart city brake support when reversing and applies brakes automatically if necessary.

Both Mazda 6 Saloon and Tourer will go on sale early 2015 with prices starts at £19,795 for the 2.0 litre SE saloon and £21, 725 for 2.0 litre SE-L Tourer.
