BMW 2 Series Active Tourer

BMW brings its first MPV and first front wheel drive car to its new model called – BMW 2 Series Active Tourer following the Mini’s UKL1 front wheel drive architecture.

STYLE AND DESIGN

BMW 2 Series Active Tourer looks very impressive five door family car offers perfect combinations of functionality and versatility. The front view is quite eye catching with low windscreen, high bonnet and high roof line. The rear lights are long and L shaped gives sporty look.

The interior is one of the most lavish and finest in its class that built with high quality &  innovative wood surfaces and leather upholstery. It feels very spacious inside.

AVAILABLE ENGINES

BMW 2 Series Active Tourer available in two choice of engines – 218i petrol engine uses new 1.5 litre 138bhp cylinder engine and other is 218d diesel engine powered by 148bhp 2.0 litre engine. However 218i sounds more practical, quite at ideal on the motorway.

PRACTICALITY AND RELIABILITY

2 Series Tourer offers plenty of cabin space of 468 litres that could extend up to 1,510 litres by electronically folding rear seats. There are three rear passenger seats same as Citroen C4 Picasso where three adults would seat comfortability without squash. BMW have given numerous storage bins and handy armrest for front passenger and driver.

The cabin door opens with direct wave of the foot under the bumper allows boot to be opened via sensor for authorised car key holder.

The entry level SE model gives you climate control, DAB, auto lights and wipers, bluetooth, LED daytime running lights, 16 inch alloy wheels and rear parking sensors as standard.
