A British luxury automaker, Bentley has revealed its most luxurious , open top car – the Grand Convertible at the LA Motor show.
Based on the Mulsanne saloon, the Grand Convertible is an four seater car and design study could reach production depending on the reaction from customers.
Bentley says, the Grand Convertible concept is the most elegant and sophisticated open-top car that they have created. Featuring iconic Bentley style with modern fashioned created by hand using the finest materials that represents the ultimate expression in powerful and sensuous roofless motoring.
The Bentley Grand Convertible fitted with the Mulsanne’s 530bhp, 6.75 litre twin turbo V8 engine producing 1,100 Nm of torque and 530bhp, promises the luxury of effortless performance to match its unparalleled style.
The interior features the grand luxurious feel that we can see in the image, with quilted and sequined leather trim used throughout plus extensive wood detailing. The lavishness continues with 14 naturally- tanned hides used in the diamond shaped upholstery and burr walnut used behind the rear seats.
The car has proper space for four adults and the bright blue is used to highlight the unique skills of Bentley’s trim specialists.
The exterior detailing, from the polished metal bonnet and long rear deck to the walnut trim on the hood cover, is highly reflective of its closest rival.
The CEP and Chairman of Bentley, Wolfgang Durheimer commented, “the Grand Convertible combines the Mulsanee experience with the full sensory indulgence of open air touring continues to unite luxury and performance in new ways and we are eagerly waiting to see the response of our customers to this car , ensures it will be highly exclusive, extremely limited collector’s piece.”
Although, Bentley does not have any strong plans to put the Grand Convertible into production but the company is looking to make exclusive limited models.
