Volkswagen Passat is a very popular and successful model from Volkswagen. Volkswagen has revealed new 2015 Volkswagen Passat in Germany at the VW design Centre and its premier will be in October at the Paris Motor show. This new 2015 Passat is eight generation of Passat model who have sold over 23 million sales worldwide.
New VW Passat has been modified from design, technologies and engine with

Longer, Lower and Wider
In new 2015 Volkswagen Passat is longer, lower and wider than current model. New model is
- 14 mm lower at 1,456mm
- 12 mm wider at 1,832 mm
- 79 mm longer at 2,791 mm
New Passat have more stylish ad premium class look with its noticeable rear design – strong inward sweep, and at the bottom it transitions into the wide, flared shoulder section. The rear lights are more wider and leaner. Rear lights are LED same as all VW models. Headlights are halogen or LED with automatically adjusts the beam for maximum illumination of the road without dazzling other traffic.
Interior space also improved so new Passat have more leg and head room, luggage space also increased.
All the standard safety technology includes such as Side Assist with Rear Traffic Alert, Traffic Jam Assist for stop-and-go comfortable driving, Emergency Assist and the latest Front Assist system with City Emergency Braking, which optionally combines both radar and camera sensors to add pedestrian detection.
High Performance Engines
Most important part to look here is – new Passat have new range of high performance engines, four-cylinder, 2.0-litre, bi-turbo diesel delivering 240 PS and an extraordinary 500 Nm from 1,750 rpm and this engine will be available only on new seven speed DSG gearbox and 4 motion all wheel drive.
Prices and Availability
Prices are not declared yet but expected to be announced in October at Paris Motor show. New 2015 Volkswagen Passat UK sales will start before end of this year with first deliveries expected in early 2015.
