Jeep has introduced a raft of engine technology updates to its 2015 Cherokee model.
The 2015 Jeep Cherokee received a raft of updates including Active Drive II 4*4 system, forward collision warning with low speed stop function, high speed crash mitigation, new shaped dual exhausts and two special order options.
The pricing across the Cherokee line-up remains unchanged, start at £25,495 for the 2.0 Longitude 140 Manual FWD.
The Active Drive II system is only available on Limited trim, offers legendary 4*4 performance operated using the enhanced Selec-Terrain dial inside the car. The car is ideal for wintery roads as it fitted with hill descent control, a 2.92:1 low range gear set for greater control and torque in off road or extreme situations and the neutral mode disconnects the rear axle to assist.
The list prices of the Active-Drive II Limited Automatic 170 hp version would be £37,195.
There are some optional ADG safety technology features available on Limited trim versions, gets updated forward collision warning with low speed stop function and crash mitigation. The autonomous braking system assist the emergency stopping if the drive is not braking the hard enough.
The two new special order options are : “Cold Weather Group” gets all season floor mates and heated steering wheel, and the “Security and Safety Group” gets bi-xenon light sensitive headlamps, headlamp washer and rain sensitive windscreen wipers.
