The second generation of Kia Soul is bigger and spacious. The first generation model form 2008 described as fresh, funky and bold which were out of ordinary look and became top five car in its class car and market leader in US and China.

Choice of Engine – Petrol/Diesel/Electric

New Kia soul offers the choice of 1.6 litre direct engine petrol or turbo diesel engines.

  • Diesel Soul has CO2 emissions – low as 132g/km and fuel economy – high as 56.5mpg
  • Petrol Soul has CO2 emissions – low as 158g/km and fuel economy – high as 41.5mpg

Towards the end of this year 2014, the electric model of Soul will be in market which is called Soul EV with zero emissions. This Soul EV will be the first global commercial electric vehicle by Kia.

Five trim levels of choice – Start, Connect, Connect Plus, Mixx and Maxx.

The new Soul have more quality and more spacious with more premium look and feel.

This has been achieved through the choice of materials; the soft-touch facings on the instrument panel, center console and door panels; the leather-covered steering wheel rim and gear lever knob (except Soul Start) and the high-gloss black finishing on the fascia panel, steering wheel bezel, door armrests and upper console cover (Soul Connect upwards). In the three upper-grade versions there are front speaker mood lights, while the range-topping Soul Maxx has a TFT instrument cluster and leather upholstery.

New standard features on every Soul are a DAB radio, Flex Steer variable power-assisted steering and a Tyre pressure monitoring system. Also fitted to every model are painted bumpers, door handles and side mirror casings, keyless entry, air conditioning, electrically adjustable door mirrors, electric windows all round, steering wheel-mounted controls, USB and AUX ports and six airbags.
